Industry Standards

Whether a vessel is required for the brewing, soft drinks, chemical or food industries, strict requirements must be met. Following the introduction of the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) suppliers cannot simply cut and weld a vessel without considering its original design and the intended use of the modified vessel. Add to this the requirements of BS5500, ASME VIII, and the ATEX Directive (which deals with hazardous environments) and it soon becomes clear that tank modification has to be approached in a professional and dedicated manner. To meet these requirements, we carry out all work in full accordance with both our documented Quality Assurance system and to manufacturing drawings produced by our experienced in house design team.
